The aim of thistalk is to introduce some geometric properties of Banach spaces, and theory ofnorm attainment of functions as a tool to study those geometric properties.
We first start with basicconcept of Banach spaces, and their properties.Also we will see Lindenstrausstype of resutls and Bollob as type of results for various types of functions andsome open problems will be announced.
