讲座内容：

In this talk, we investigate stability of steady states of a size- and stage-structured population model, which is a hybrid system of ordinary and partial differential equations with global integral feedbacks.   After the formulation of a criterion by spectrum method, we derive conditions for global stability of the trivial state and local stability of the positive equilibrium via the basic reproduction rate. Furthermore, some examples and simulations are presented to illustrate the obtained results.

主讲人介绍：

何泽荣, 博士，杭州电子科技大学运筹与控制研究所教授、博士生导师，浙江省中青年学科带头人。 主要从事生物种群系统的数学建模、系统分析和控制理论研究。在具有年龄或尺度结构的种群模型研究领域成果较为突出。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目２项。发表学术论文70余篇，其中被SCI收录30余篇，国家一级期刊论文20余篇。作为第一完成人多次获得浙江省自然科学优秀论文奖、浙江省高校优秀科研成果奖。主要兼职：美国《Mathematical Reviews》评论员、国际学术期刊《Advances in Differential Equations and Control Processes》编委、中文核心期刊《科技通报》编委、教育部科技奖励评审专家、教育部学科评估专家、中国生物数学学会理事、国家自然科学基金委通讯评审专家。
