In the context of big data, the research on the artificialintelligence and machine learning have demonstrated to be effective in solvingmany big data problems. In this talk, Lianhua will go through her researchduring her career at IBM Research, Harvard University and La Trobe University.Moreover, she will cover the topics of her future research in artificialintelligence and machine learning.

主讲人介绍：

Lianhua Chi(池莲花)received thedual Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of TechnologySydney, Australia, and the Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Wuhan, China, in 2015. She was a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist in IBMResearch Melbourne. Dr. Chi was a recipient of the Best Paper Award in PAKDD in2013 and a visiting scholar at Harvard University in 2018. Currently, she is aResearcher/Lecturer with the Department of Computer Science and InformationTechnology at La Trobe University since 2018. Her current research interestsinclude data mining, machine learning and big data analysis.
