讲座内容：

Thefirst direct detection of gravitational waves (GW) opens the new era ofgravitational wave astronomy. The strongly lensed GWs seen by 3G detectorsaccompanied by electromagnetic (EM) signals could be used to test modifiedtheories of gravity, serve as a milestone in precision cosmology, and apply tostudying dark matter distributions. I will introduce the event rate observed by3G detectors as well as those applications of lensed GW-EM system tofundamental physics and cosmology.

主讲人介绍：

国务院学位委员会学科评议组天文学科召集人（2015年起）、教育部长江学者特聘教授（2009年）、国家杰出青年基金获得者（2008年）、教育部新世纪人才（2005年）、北京师范大学天文系教授（2004年起）、武汉大学物理科学与技术学院教授（2017年起）。曾获中国科学院自然科学一等奖（1999年）、国务院政府特殊津贴（2000年）和教育部自然科学二等奖（2017年）。主要研究领域：引力波天文学；引力透镜、暗物质与暗能量等宇宙学问题；星系团的X射线观测与理论研究。
