维多利亚文学：问题、作家及主要作品

讲座内容：

Victorian literature is English literature of the Victorian period, i.e., literature that was written during the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901), The literature of this period is very rich, extremely varied and abundant, and because of it Victorian literature is never taught as a single subject in University English departments. Instead, it is broken up into pieces, which are taught separately: e.g., the Victorian novel, late Victorian poetry, the plays of Oscar Wilde. While no teacher would attempt to present the whole of Victorian literature in a single semester, one can convey a sense of the whole in under an hour by sketching an overview.

主讲人介绍：

James Hill 密歇根大学硕士，爱荷华大学博士，科研领域为美国和维多利亚时期的作品。. 他还对医学人文有特殊的研究兴趣，发表了多篇论文。
