Undecided propositions and their applications

We will start fromthe motivation of ZFC and ZFC axioms. Then some examples of undecidedpropositions in ZFC set theory will be discussed.We will explain how to usesome undecided propositions in ZFC to answer couple open questions raised by severalmathematicians.

主讲人介绍：

Ziqin Feng received his PhD degree in mathematics from University of Pittsburgh and is currently an associate professor in Auburn University. Before joining Auburn, he also worked as avisiting assistant professor inMiami University for two years and as a MarieCurie IIF in University of Birm-ingham (UK) for 14 months. His professionalinterests focus on set-theoretictopology, set theory, and functional analysis.
